An estate agent from a large agency came to our house this evening, he smelt of cheap deodourant and was dressed smart but like an estate agent. We talked and he told me that my house was worth more than i imagined. At this point i'm already doubting the ability of this individual to sell my house, i mean c'mon I've got access to land registry data, i read the local papers surely know how much my house is worth?
Anyway my better half is sold by this agent and has decided rightly or wrongly that we should go with them. Meanwhile I've seen a house i like, the dilemma now is do i put in an offer before my house is on the market? do i risk loosing it to someone else who probably has more £ than i.
